The school held a thought provoking and solemn remembrance service in assembly and was well observed by the children. Commemorating along side us were members of the Royal British Legion, who conducted a formal remembrance in the raising and lowering of the Royal British Legion standard.

Mr Simpson conducted the ceremony, speaking about remembrance day and it’s importance.  Each class made a poppy wreath and representatives presented each wreath, in commemoration at the front of the hall. Eloquent and poignant readings were also given by Y5 and Y6 children.

The poppy wreaths are on display in reception.
